After spending a 24-year career in the Air Force, Pete joined the auto auction Industry providing Business Development for ADT Automotive, Inc. When Manheim Auctions purchased ADT's auction chain, Pete became the Director of Manheim Auctions Government Services (MAGS). After 18 years in the auction industry, he retired and immediately founded Flynn Jensen Company in December 2010 which has flourished for nearly 10 years. Pete says, "doing a bit of work in between rounds of golf keeps my brain from turning to mush."
WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR FLYNN JENSEN COMPANY?
At Flynn Jensen Company (FJC) we dedicate ourselves to making business relationships that are based on quality of performance, honesty, loyalty, and a desire to provide our customers with the best possible service at a cost that is conducive to allowing both parties to be successful. Therefore, everyone on the FJC team is responsible for meeting these business attributes on a continuing basis. In terms of management, Pete Flynn continues to create business development ideas for the company and Geoff Jensen manages all financial activities. PJ III works on operational issues while Andrea continues to build business relationships as a backup to Pete's business development activities.
Founder & Senior Executive
Vice President, Operations
After serving a tour in the Air Force, PJ started working with Manheim Auctions Remarketing Solutions as a customer service representative. Once Flynn Jensen Company was founded he became an owner of the company. PJ managed the activities surrounding operational issues for FJC in the Southeastern United States as well as assisting with daily issues involving the FJC Operations Center based in Nashville, Tennessee. He now resides near Tampa, Florida and provides operational support for FJC's United States Marshals Contract in the District of Middle Florida. He also provides manpower support for operational issues in other US Marshals Districts as required.
Senior Vice President
Andrea has multiple tasks in her busy daily activities raising three very active children, managing her Yoga classes, and tending to the responsibilities involved being an Air Force Colonel's wife. With all that, she and Pete work together so Andrea can develop the skills to lead FJC into the future. Because she resides with her husband, Geoff, in Klamath Falls, Oregon, it is difficult to get familiar with the activities required to develop future business. Patience is the key watchword in this learning process and all things will work out in the end.
Vice President & Treasurer
Geoff recently retired from active duty as an Air Force Colonel, and an F-15 Fighter Pilot, with the Oregon Air National Guard. He accepted a job managing the aggressor squadron that helps train F-15 pilots but he still manages to perform his duties as the senior financial manager for Flynn Jensen Company. He coordinates all accounts payable and accounts receivable. He determines the distribution of company assets to places where they provide the best value for the company. He manages the books and makes payroll decisions as required. In the future, Geoff will take the responsibility of proposal preparation and seeking business opportunities increasing FJC's business base.
